Beyond the 'Doh...Next Level Loaves

$59.00

Ready to take your sourdough beyond the basic loaf? Designed for those who already know the fundamentals, this workshop builds on the basics to make baking more flexible, creative, and fun. You’ll learn about flavor inclusions, dough lamination, advanced shaping, troubleshooting, and clever ways to use discard, all with an emphasis on real-life baking rather than perfection. Enjoy live demos and plenty of samples so you can leave ready to confidently experiment at home. (Prerequisite: Taking the "Doh!" out of Sourdough or comfort baking a basic loaf).

What to bring:

  • Large mixing bowl

  • Tea towel/kitchen towel

  • Spatula

  • Kitchen scale (if you have one)

Note: For best results, sourdough is typically baked in a Dutch oven. The instructor will share alternative baking options during the workshop, but if you’ve been thinking about getting (or borrowing) one, now’s a great time! A minimum 4–5 qt size is ideal.

Children ages 14 years or older may enroll with an enrolled adult.

The class duration may vary slightly based on group size and discussion, please allow for a little extra time at the end.
